Our third major test will be given this week in the proctored lab. It will be an online test that you must schedule an appointment for through smarterproctoring link on the left. You need to take it between APRIL 5-9. Take your mask, photo ID and be sure to know your log in information. Must have an appointment. I will leave it open until Friday the 9TH.

We will cover part of chapter 11 in class and watch Freud's biography.

There are two assignments this week. One will be a discussion board that is required in all psychology classes. I will have to hand grade it. It is an assessment tool we use in all our psychology classes. The other will be easy if you came to class and watched Freud's biography with us. It is a questionnaire over it. You will turn it in in the classroom when we finish watching it. If you miss that day, there are links below to watch it and to print off the questions that you can bring to class to me to turn in.

This week there is a required Student Learning Outcome Assignment we use for assessment in our class. It is a discussion question. Here is a link to it. It requires you to read about the different perspectives about how we get our personality and describe and discuss one of them. Be sure your answer includes information about how the people from that viewpoint think you get your personality, don't just define the viewpoint.

Psychodynamic perspective (Chapter 11, Section 11.2)

Behavioral perspective (Chapter 11, Section 11.4)

Humanistic perspective (Chapter 11, Section 11.5)

2. Select only one of the three perspectives (Psychodynamic, Behavioral, Humanistic) to write about for this week’s discussion.

3. You may also wish to conduct some research on your own or examine one of the three articles provided in this week's module related to the above three theories of Personality.

4. Submit a brief summary (one paragraph – minimum of four sentences) of what you read and learned about one of the four perspectives related to Personality: Psychodynamic perspective, Behavioral perspective, Humanistic perspective. Provide a summary of this perspective and how personality is developed. Do not give a summary of the theory of psychology. This assignment deals only with how the Psychodynamic perspective, Behavioral perspective, Humanistic perspective views how we develop our personality.

5. Be sure to include where you read the information that you are summarizing (textbook, research on your own or the article in module).

On this week's discussion of different approaches, be sure to include specific information as how approach this relates to personality.
Some of you are only submitting an overview of the perspective. Your posting needs to include information on this approach and personality development.

You do not have to respond to another student for this assignment...just do your best in writing a good summary of one of the three perspectives of personality.
